TGX Medical Systems announces new Tissue Tracking module for the Alex Gold Instrument Management System

Carmel, IN– TGX Medical Systems, LLC, an Indiana based software developer of medical asset management systems has released its Tissue Tracking module as its latest addition to the Alex Gold instrument management system.

"The release of this latest module follows our mission of providing software that allows hospitals the ability to achieve best practices for their facility across operations with emphasis on better patient care and optimization of resource," says Chris Sogard President of TGX Medical Systems. The Alex Gold Tissue Tracking module allows for the hospital to track tissue as it is received into the facility, what condition it is in, where and how it is being stored, lot numbers and the ability to track to patient as well as rotating stock.

This new functionality allows OR's to understand what exact inventory they have and the ability to utilize it properly, without having to discard expired tissue. The new tissue tracking functionality is included as part of the Alex Gold instrument management system with no additional resource outlay for the hospital.
